Introduzione

Article 6 of Regulation (EU) 2024/795 foresees the European Commission to establish a dedicated website (STEP Portal) to provide information on funding opportunities for STEP-related projects and to improve their visibility, in particular by displaying the following information:

• Information on the directly managed programmes identified by the STEP Regulation (Digital Europe Programme, European Defence Fund, EU4Health, Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, InvestEU) and on calls for tenders and proposals related to the STEP objectives within those programmes;
• Details of projects awarded with the STEP Seal;
• Details of projects recognized as strategic under the Net-Zero Emissions Industry Regulation and the Critical Raw Materials Regulation, to the extent they fall within the scope of Article 2 of the STEP Regulation;
• Details of projects supporting STEP objectives that have been selected for support from the ERDF, Cohesion Fund, ESF+, or JTF; contact details of the designated competent national authorities.

This section, in addition to the link to the European Commission's STEP Portal, highlights the calls for proposals adopted for the implementation of the STEP initiative within the European Cohesion Policy programs in Italy.
