SUDO is an acronym standing for Senior Urban Development Officials, a working group aimed at investigating issues related to urban development. The group is made up of high-level representatives from G7 member countries, as well as representatives of international organizations and other relevant stakeholders.
The SUDO carries out continuous work and organizes meetings regularly - both on monthly online basis as well as in person, to address the vast range of urban issues, including problems related to the environment, housing and infrastructure, discussing its own planning, programming and urban governance aspects of the different countries. SUDO members work together to identify common challenges and share best practices, for greater cooperation and coordination among G7 countries. The final objective is to define the contents of the final Communiqué to be approved at the meeting of Ministers.
